February Update
We're about ready to get back in gear on LTLO. Ken is back from his trip and the rest of the crew is done with the Texas Health Resources media commercial submitted last week.

So what's next? Well we have some updates on the script to do and I've (Tony) got some reservations about our shooting of the bus scene with such a big crowd that will need to be on hand. We love how great Minerals Wells has been to us so far but that's such a HUGE task with our zero dollar budget. If anyone wants to volunteer and sway us otherwise, just let me know.

Quick Test for Facebook
We're trying to promote our Film using all of our Social Media prowess. Ping.fm and our SharePoint site as well. Let us know if you have any other ideas for promotions.
Sneak Peek of the film
I'm (Tony) taking a bit more time than I'd like on the video. Julie lent me her Mac with Final Cut Pro 6 on it and I've been a Premiere Pro guy for the last 6 years so the Mac and new software is a little bit of a learning curve. I haven't really focused on syncing music or dialogue yet since I'm still ramping up and we'll have other footage to add with the story after more filming. All in all I really like what David Pinkston shot and lit up along with Daniel and Ken's grip and lighting. From what I see the camera does justice to what I envisioned and saw through the camera. So the next steps are to keep ramping up on FC/Mac so I'm ready when we have more film to work with. I'll create a few more clips after I get the audio.
1st Day of Shooting
Well congrats to our full cast and crew on the first day/night of shooting for LTLO. Overall it was a very successful day. We hit 4 locations, multiple wardrobe changes, about 12 cast members, drop outs, drop ins, extra scenes and camera angles, added sound to some scenes and even had a few scenes with dialogue on the fly! (way to go Pattie and Ken!) Tony has spent a little time reviewing the video so far and it looks amazing. Ken, Daniel and David did a great job on the lighting and David really knocked it out of the park using a new camera (Canon 5D Mark II). David's cinematography and directing scenes, camera and lighting really were a joy to watch. We did have a few hiccups with locations (lessons learned) but the crew/cast was very flexible with the changes and we were able to push on. The ER room wasn't available until after 10pm but on a good note we found a whole new wing of the Palo Pinto General Hospital that is perfect for all of our future scenes we can write in for the 'Feature'! wink, wink Mr. Knopp!! I’ll update the blog a little more after I get some editing done tonight! Pics to come.
