Who writes the scenes? How long are they? What if I don't like it?
We'll work with you personally to identify the right type of scene(s) for you and the roles you're wanting; Film, TV, Theater and Commercials. Most actors pick their parts but if you're struggling, just let us know and we'll help you find the right part(s) for you.

If you have the budget, we can put you in touch with some of our professional writers in our arsenal that will work with you.

How long does it take to shoot and edit each scene?
This is what sets apart from the others. We know the casting directors want to see if you can fit into their role and if your demo is ONLY one role then your chance dwindle. Our approach is to shoot 2-4 short scenes varying in genres and styles to quickly help them picture you as a successful candidate.

A session for the purpose of a demo reel is only about a page and a half long...Resulting in about a minute to a minute and a half completed scenes. Generally, it takes 3 to 5 hours to setup, light, block and shoot, and about 3 to 4 hours to edit, color correct and adjust the audio. Longer or more complicated scenes, of course, take longer to shoot and edit.

What is the average cost?
We custom produce everything for you. So it depends on what you want and how many scenes you are doing. But on average, just shooting and editing a normal session, without any added options, generally runs about $450 per session (that number is using the averages...it can fluxuate up or down depending on a number of different circumstances). So you can actually shoot two or four scenes for the same amount of money it takes to get new headshots taken and printed.

Do I need to hire an actor to read with me?
This is completely up to you, but the way we shoot the demo you'll realize that you're the ONLY actor in your reel. The casting directors will only see you and not be side tracked by your counterparts. We'll read with you off camera but if you're prepared you'll realize that its the easiest acting you've ever done. If you know a very good actor that fits the other character(s) in your scene, you are more than welcome to bring them.

Can I put this on my resume?
Of course. And since we are a legitimate production company with multiple professional directors and we are known for our larger projects then you can put us as the production company and/or the director of your piece on your resume. Treat it like a short film. If we get any inquiry calls, we'll back you up.

What equipment do you use?
We are a completely digital production studio shooting ONLY 1080. We shoot with a set of Canon 5Ds and edit on Mac using Final Cut Pro, Color, Soundtrack pro as well as Motion and After Effects for our commercials and special effects. We have professional lighting/grip equipment and camera support systems including Steadicams for more dramatic shots. We can add music, own a complete sound effects library, and create effects such as slow or fast motion, as well as fades, cross dissolves and all industry standard filmmaking effects....but for the demo reels we suggest making it simple and all about you, not the editing or the graphics.

How long should the demo reel be?
We work with many agents and managers, cutting reels for their clients. What they like to see ideally is 1 to 2 good minutes max. No more 5 minute demo reels for the casting agents.

What if I don't like the finished product?
Where do you shoot?
Very basic pieces can be shot in our multiple studio in and around Fort Worth, otherwise, everything is shot on location, so it is made to look like you did a real film or TV show. Location shooting is more difficult and if you HAVE to HAVE a location we'll work with you to discuss budget and options.

Are there any other costs?
Your original tapes and/or discs. We'll upload your scenes to a site of your choice or we'll post it to a location for 7 days. If you need a DVD copy we charge $10 for the initial DVD and $5 per each additional copy.

Can I be considered for your other projects?
